I began working with glass in the summer of 2004.

Kilnforming allows me to build up the piece layer by layer so that it appears born rather than made. It is important that the texture inhabits the work with an organic sense almost as skin does the body. This texture is sensual and grotesque at the same time, eliciting complex emotions.

The titles of my works tell a fragment of a larger story but leave room to question the actions that are taking place.
